Characteristics: Of the three Clematis species of the Balearic islands, this one is the most rare, as it can only be found in Mallorca and in very few areas. It can be recognized by its composite leaves which are similar to Clematis flammula, are much larger than those of the other two species and the folioles are dentate (those of Clematis flammula are whole) The flowers are greenish white. Can be sporadically found entwined amongst bushes and trees in shady locations in torrents. Flowers at the end of spring and the beginning of summer.
