Characteristics: This Narcissus lives in garrigues (Mediterranean woodland) and long wasteland. It looks like Narcissus serotinus but it can be easily distinguished because the inflorescence has many flowers, moreover it produces leaves out at the same time as it flowers (Narcissus serotinus does not have leaves when it is in flower), and the leaves are flat instead of cylindrical. The flowers are white with an central orange crown; the petals may be very narrow and sometimes are facing backwards. It flowers in autumn.
