Characteristics: An annual cycle herbaceous plant that entines itself into other plants. Leaves are composite, with many folioles with a terminal branching tendril. Flowers are small and blue in colour. Of special note for its identification are its fruits, which are as wide as they are long, as they only containtwo seeds. When fructifying it can be easily distinguished from other species of this genus with small blue flowers, like Vicia gracilis. Flowers during the spring.
