Characteristics: An annual crawling legume (up to 70 cm.). The stems are winged and the bifoliate leaves have a large divided tendril on the terminal part. The stipules are very showy, wide and semisagittate, normally with a tooth at the base. Flowers are solitary and longly pedunculate and whitish-blues in colour. The fruits are wider (8-20 mm.) than large, smooth with two wings at the ventral margin.
