Characteristics: One more of the many species of Compositae with yellow capitula living in the islands. Like many others, it can also be found along path-sides, in grasslands and disturbed places. But it can be easily recognised by looking at the capitula bracts: we will see that some of them, the outside ones, are clearly differentiated, smaller and oval. Its can reach practically a metre in height, with a rosette of relatively large leaves at the base.
