Characteristics: This is a climbing plant we often find on dry walls, also on the bushes in dry garrigues (Mediterranean woodland) in the islands. It flowers during autumn and winter, on the contrary to Clematis flammula which flowers nearly in summer. The flowers hang down like small, cream-coloured bells with darker lines and a slight hairiness on the outer side.
