Characteristics: This is one of the few species of the Senecio genus with simple, linear leaves. This plant is a bush of about a half of a metre in height, and only woody at the base, covered completely by its leaves; the capitula are numerous, yellow and more than a centimetre in diameter. If this species is in flower, it is unmistakable from the rest of the members of the genus Senecio. Can be found on the island of Dragonera and the islets of the Pitiusses. Flowers in winter and spring.
