Characteristics: A very branched shrub, with the upper branches are covered by small ovalate greyish green leaves. The flowers are slightly aparent, yellow and covered with hairs on the outside. This is a rare shrub that only lives in few rocky zones of the Sierra. It can be confused with Thymelaea velutina, but this latter species has leaves covered with white hairs that form a wooly covering. Flowers in spring.
