Characteristics: A tall shrub that can grow to over two metres in height, with the superior branches covered with triofoliolate leaves that emerge directly from the stems, without petioles. The folioles are almost linear with revolute margins, ashy green in colour. The flowers ore formed in the upper branches in compact inflorescences. The legumes are short in length and covered with hairs. Inhabits dense garrigues with Erica arborea and Erica scoparia, all of which are shrubs that grow on carbonate absent soils. Until the present, they have only have been found in Menorca. Flowers in spring.
