Description: An evergreen bush or tree reaching 2-4m in height, with small, pubescent branches. The alternate, ovate, greyish-green, pubescent leaves are 15-25cm long. The hanging, trumpet-shaped flowers, 25-30cm long, give off their scent above all in the evening. In mild winters it does not stop flowering. The corolla has folds which end in erect, elongated appendices. The fruit forms a hanging capsule which is 7-10cm long and which has numerous seeds.
