Characteristics: This Leguminosae is unmistakable when it bears fruit: the fruit is a flat pod with a sinuate or dentate margin. The leaves are divided into many leaflets; one of which is terminal (odd-pinnate leaf). Its flowers are small and are found on a leaf-stalk. It lives in small meadows of annual plants in siliceous soils.
