Characteristics: A robust plant, woody at the base, pilose. This species is very similar to S. hifacensis although the inflorescence of S. mollissima is asymmetric and flowers are white, not pink. Stems are erect and the lower leaves have: long petioles, are grouped rosettes and elliptic in shape.
