Characteristics: An herbaceous plant that looks like a bush, as it has a thick trunk and is very well branched. Leaves are rhomboid with few teeth or slightly lobed. Flowers are white and united in a sort of an umbel; upon fructification, forms dangling, spherical berries that turn black when mature. Solanum luteum looks a lot like it, but it is much more hirsute, with mature fruits are red in colour. Flowers all the year but mainly during the spring and the summer.
