Characteristics: This a saprobic orchid, and so, the stem is not green but violet in colour, as no chlorophyll is present. The flowers emerge at the extreme of the stem, colour violet, and unlike Limodorum abortivum, have a very short spur, less than 3mm long. Lives in encinals, flowers from May to June.
