Characteristics: Small annual that inhabits terraphytic fields. Can be recognized by its rose coloured flowers (with a solitary labium, which is true for all species of the genus Teucrium) and by the leaves, which are twice divided. Also characteristic that the calyx is gibbous in form. Teucrium campanulatum also has very divided leaves but it is perennial and has white flowers. Flowers at the end of spring during the month of June.
