Characteristics: A fern with fronds reaching to 12 cm in length. Lamina is elliptic to oblonglanceolate (more long than wide) a clear gren in colour (2 pinnae or 2 divisions. Pinnae oblong or in the form of an egg ovate), alternate and pinnules cuniform (wedge shaped with straight edges, convergent on the leaf reverse). Sorus are small and more long than wide with lateral indusium.
