Characteristics: A herb that lives along the ground, with flat, succulent, light green leaves. The flower looks like a greenish star which is easily recognisable. It lives along warm coastlines, together with Mesembrianthemum nodiflorum, from which it can be distinguished by its flat leaves rather than cylindrical ones.
