Habitats: Rock crevices and cliff faces. On limestone rock shelters and cliffs, hanging from ceilings, in perpetually shady and cool environments, in mid-elevation mountainous areas.
Characteristics: Perennial herb, 10-20 cm tall, bluish-green in color. Leaves lanceolate and sessile, narrower at the base, acute, glabrous, and coriaceous. Flowers borne on erect peduncles shorter than the calyx; bracts small, green to purplish. Calyx tubular, 1 cm long, often purplish. Corolla with five petals twice as long as the sepals, featuring a well-developed whitish claw and a pink blade, at the base of which are erect-arched, acute ligules. Fruit a capsule opening by five teeth.
