Characteristics: Small shrub up to 20 cm tall, with erect, woody stems branched from the base, densely tomentose and whitish-grey in colour. Leaves are linear, opposite, greenish on the upper surface and whitish beneath, with strongly revolute margins and small lobes in the upper half. Inflorescences arranged in glomeruli 1-2 cm wide. Calyx tubular, densely covered with hairs, with teeth ending in a cap-like tip. Corolla (4-5 mm) white or cream, with glabrous posterior lobes
