Characteristics: A small whitish shrub due to the dense covering of fine hairs on the branches and leaves. The leaves are divided several times into narrow, nearly linear segments. The capitula are small, more or less cylindrical, and yellowish; there are many growing out of the top half of the plant. It is an aromatic plant, which can be smelt by taking some leaves in your fingers. It lives in saline soils, near moist areas. It flowers in summer and autumn.
