Characteristics: Nitrophilic grasslands from wetlands, stream banks, shady livestock mangers, roadsides or forest boundaries, etc. A perennial herb, glabrous or glabrescent, with inferior leaves lirate-pinnatipartide. Can be distinguished from other Barbarea, by its relatively short silques (up to 3 cm in length) and 3-5 lateral segments at the inferior leaves.
