Characteristics: Sub alpine pastures, the borders of temperate forests, moors, moist lowlands, etc. A slender herb, non branching (or only slightly), nodes at the basal section. Leaves have a short sheathed petiole (2-8 mm), very divided into laciniate-linear. Umbels with 3-12 radii, lacking involucre or one formed only by 1-2 bracts. The fruit is compressed at the sides with styles ± erect.
