Habitats: Rock crevices and cliff faces.

Characteristics: Rock crevasses, walls and sunny cliffs, on acid substrates. A small perennial plant with stiff and fragile leaves, with the petiole shiny and the lamina 2-3 pinnatisect. The pinnules are normally sessile. The leaf reverse is glabrous (without glandular hairs) and is where the sori are located, and these are protected by an pseudoindusium which is entire.
