Characteristics: Fissures and outcrops of calcareous rock, also in stable scree fields. . A small plant with a lignified trunk, with ovate or orbiculate basal leaves, these dentate and cordate at the base. The cauline leaves are narrower, petiolate and few in number. Produces 1-4 flowers on a lax raceme, blue in colour.
