Characteristics: Megaforbic communities and granitic detris. A fern with fronds 2-3 pinnatisect, with obtuse pinnules, adjoining and superimposed. Can be mistaken for A. filix-femina, which it can be distinguished from this one by its rudimentary and caducous indusium.
