Characteristics: Mesophilic or meso-xerophilic pastures, but also in rocky places. A pilose herb with leaves imparipinnate, with the terminal leaf larger than the others. Can be distinguished from other subspecies by its calyx of 10-13 x 2-4 mm and yellow flowers (with a reddish keel).
