Characteristics: Stream banks, fissures with dripping water, wet grasslands, etc. A bulbous plant with cylindrical or semi cylindrical leaves more than 0.5 mm in width. Similar to A. paniculatum , has noncuspid staminal filaments and has a spathe with two valves, and is different from this later species in that the flowering pedicels are shorter than the perianth and the tepals are greater than 7.5 mm.
