Province distribution: Balearic Islands.
Distribution in the islands: Mallorca.
Habitats: Rock crevices and cliff faces. North-west Mallorca mountain colonizing humid and shadowy places.
Characteristics: Small prostrate herbs that can root form the first nodes of its branches (stoloniferous) that can reach 30 cm. in length. The secondary branches are much smaller and can have hairs. Leaves are trifoliate, the stipules obtuse at the apex with long hairs at the margins and a petiole that can reach 8 cm. in length. Develops one yellow flower per petiole and the seeds are dark coloured, flattened and with awns. Presents a great similitude to O. corniculata, although this later species is not stoloniferous, varies in its pilosity, in the number of flowers per inflorescence, in the size of the fruit, in the number of seeds per loci and the habitat, amongst other characteristics.
