Characteristics: Rock fissures and outcrops, subshrub formations, on silicic substrates. An herb with palmate leaves, divided almost to the base in 5 segments (differs from A. transiens, which has 6-7). Differs from A. alpigena as its flowers are disposed in dense glomerules.
