Habitats: Alpine grasslands. Meso-xerophyll mountain fields. Mesophyll mountainous grasslands.

Characteristics: All types of pastures (although prefers mesophiles), mountain to alpine dwelling. An herb with scantly divided palmate leaves, pilose on all surfaces. The foliar lobes are truncate and ± rectangular (differs from A. filicaulis), more or less entire at the sides and with 4-10 teeth at the apical portion. Also differs from A. filicaulis as petioles and stems show a lengthy, patent and silky pilosity.

Observations: Pertains to the group of Alchemilla hybrida.
