Characteristics: Grows along mountain springs and streams. An herb, (ht. 10 cm) with sessile, pubescent and linear leaves, regularly needled and dentate. The flowers are white and are grouped in capitula that are larger than the norm for this genus (the involucre is 8-12 mm in diameter).
