Characteristics: A herbaceous plant which lives in places with sandy, saline soils. It has a floury aspect, with small small, fleshy leaves with a slightly dentate margin. The fruits have two pieces which are joined to each another, with a fan-like dentate margin, often in pink or reddish hues. It flowers in summer and autumn.
