Characteristics: Creeping cinquefoil is quite a frequent plant in moist soils; it covers the substrate with its stems and leaves, sometimes forming a real carpet. The leaves are very characteristic, made up of five leaflets that stem from the same point giving rise to a palmate shape. The leaflets have a cut margin with big teeth. The flowers are yellow and appear on a long leaf-stalk. There are not many plants that can generate confusion. It flowers during winter and spring.
