Characteristics: A very small and pilose legume with showy red flowers. Grows prostrate and is branched from the base, forming stems up to 42 cm. in length. The stipules are of margin entire and very similar to the folioles. The fruit is a legume with two ventral wings and a thickened dorsal margin, with 10-20 seeds.
