Characteristics: A bush that can reach up to a metre and a half in height, with very long, yet almost never dense branches. The young branches are turgid with four well-marked lines. Leaves are slightly coriaceous and are opposed to each other in position. Unlike other Hypericum species, this plant has very few glands. Flowers are yellow and bloom at the end of spring and throughout summer. This plant can always be found in the mountain torrents of Mallorca
