Characteristics: A small annual plant of the family of the Compositae with daisy-shaped capitula: white petals in the peripheral flowers and yellow central flowers. It has greatly divided leaves in nearly linear lobules. It can be confused with species of the Anthemis genus which live in the same environments: dry land and roadsides; it can be differentiated by the fruits: Anacyclus has flat fruits and the margins have well marked wings, whereas Anthemis has fruits that are not flat and lack wings. It flowers at the end of spring.
