Characteristics: This is a small Umbellifera which lives in pastures of the annual plants growing among bushes in garrigues (Mediterranean woodland). It can be distinguished from Bupleurum semicompositum, which lives in the same habitats, because its has bracts which are broader and longer than the flowers, in contrast to this species which has shorter, linear leaves.
