Characteristics: A shrubby plant that can reach notable dimensions (up to 3 m. in height). Differs from the rest of the Aloes, as it has long leaves (up to 60 cm. in length) greyish green on the leaf face and light green on the reverse, turned downwards and with curved teeth inside of the turns and in addition, many leaves in the apical part of the branches. The flowers are orangey-red and grouped above the leaves in terminal inflorescences without ramifications, up to 80 cm. in length.
