Characteristics: An herbaceous plant (up to 140 cm.) with enlongaed racimes of four petaled flowers, pale yellow in colour. The inferior leaves are divided with the terminal segment ovate in shape. Small fruit in an erect silque that opens spontaneously freeing the seeds and finshes in an oblique beak. This genus is characterized by its fruits, which are borne close to the stem and by the tender fruit valves, with three well marked nerves.
