Characteristics: A perennial plant of the Legume family with flowers in pedulate clusters, whitish pink in colour, and is found in the rock crevices of the Mallorquin Mountains. Can be told apart from A. vulneraria subspecies gandogeri as this later species lives in habitats different to those of A. vulneraria subspecies balearica, (clearings in the garrique and at ties in dry farmed fields) and the leaves have only two or three pairs of folioles, with the terminal one with the larger size, while the folioles of subsps. balearica are all the same size.
