Characterized by its pink flowers that upon fructifying inflate the calyx, while the inflorescence develops a downy glomerule. Can be told apart from Trifolium pubescens, as in this latter species, the pedicel of the inflorescence is shorter than the leaf, while Trifolium fragiferum leaf is much larger. On the other hand, Trifolium resupinatum is an annual, with calyxes with two long teeth which are very characteristic. Flowers from the month of April and even during the summer in wet soils.
