Characteristics: A bush or small tree that in the Balearic Islands only lives in the littoral dunes of Alcudia Bay, and is densely branched with these branches covered with needle-shaped leaves with two white lines on the obverse. Forms a sort of fructification in the form of a reddish berry. Can be distinguished from the typical subspecies as the entire plant is much bigger, especially the leaves and the berries, additionally the other subspecies lives in garrigues and forests.
