Characteristics: This species will always be found in very disturbed places, path-sides, grasslands, and is not rare in cities. It is a Cruciferacea with very small, yellow flowers that are found on a raceme-shaped inflorescence. The feature that allows to be identified most easily may be the shape of its fruits: they are long, up to 5 cm, and are distributed perpendicularly in the axis of the inflorescence, moreover they are rigid. It can be frequentlyo found in the same places as Sisymbrium irio, but they can be differentiated by their fruits, in the latter species has the top fruits point more or less upwards exceeding the flowers and they are not rigid.
