Juniperus phoenicea subsp. turbinata forest. Pine wood and shrubland with rosemary and thyme garigue. Garriques, pine woodlands and coastal areas.

Characteristics: The subspecies hispanica of Dactylis glomerata can be recognised because the whole plant is smaller, with the inflorescence grouped in one only glomerule. It lives in dry places, often near the coast and the whole plant frequently takes on reddish hues.
