Habitats: Cultivated fields, path and road sides, disturbed zones. Roads and dry soils.

Characteristics: A herb that grows along the ground in dry farmlands and neglected places. It is recognised because it has round leaves, with a heart-shaped base, covered in glandous hairs that are sticky and viscous to the touch. The flowers are whitish with a lilac upper lip. It flowers during summer. It can be found in the same environments as Linaria spuria, but this is not viscous to the touch and moreover it has yellow flowers.
