Description: A small tree 2-6m in height, it has a rounded crown, frequently without thorns. The leaves are narrowly eliptical or lanceolate, 4-8cm long and 1.5-4cm wide and light green in colour. The petioles have a very short wing. The flowers are white and fragrant. The fruits are small, 5-7.5cm in diameter, with thin skin which comes off easily; they are slightly flattened and orange in colour.
Observations: The species name "deliciosa" refers to its fruit, which is well appreciated for human consumption.
