Characteristics: Perennial plant, non-climbing, glabrous. Stems up to 1,5 m, erect, woody, and hollow at the base. Leaves opposite, composed of entire, ovate-lanceolate leaflets, green on the upper side and glaucous beneath. Inflorescence with numerous flowers. Tepals 4-5(7), white, free, hairy on the margin and glabrous elsewhere. Stamens numerous. Fruit laterally compressed, with a plumose style up to 3,5 cm.
