Characteristics: Perennial herb, often aquatic and floating, with thick rhizomes. Stems up to 2 m, erect or spreading over the water, scarcely branched. Leaves with blade 15 × 4 cm, glabrous and shiny, narrower at the apex and cordate at the base. Inflorescence 2-6 cm, compact, cylindrical, on erect peduncle up to 8.5 cm. Flowers with five tepals, pale pink in color.
