Characteristics: Parasitic herb, lacking green chlorophyllous structures, perennial, pubescent-glandular. Stems 10-35 cm, erect, simple or branched, whitish-yellowish. Inflorescence terminal, 5-15 cm, very dense. Flowers with corolla 15-20 mm, erect-patent, sky-blue; tube narrow, not widening toward the apex; lobes shorter than the tube, those of the lower lip rounded. Stamens with glabrous filaments, included within the tube.
