Habitats: Cultivated fields, path and road sides, disturbed zones.
Characteristics: Cultivated fields, slopes, roadsides and wastelands. A pluricaule herb, varing in size (10-50 cm). The basal leaves are oblong-obovate with smaller caulines. The involucre is cylindrical, some 6-11 mm, with involucral bracts with a scarious margin. Differs from other Crepis in that its marginal achenes are winged and in the receptacle the setae are longer than the achenes.
